Kitti Kuremane, a native of Chiangmai in Thailand, began his music education at the age of six in Montfort College. At the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts in Chulalongkorn University, he studied French Horn performance and majored in composition with Prof. Weerachat Premananda, Prof. Narongrit Dhamabutra and Prof. Natcha Phancharoen. He graduated in 2005. From 2010 to 2011, he did his post-graduate degree in education in classical contemporary composition with Prof. Wim Henderickx at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp in Belgium.
Kitti’s works for wind and percussion have been performed by ensembles from Asia, North America and Europe. Kitti composes film music as well. His “13 Beloved” and “Love of Siam” have won many trophies and awards in 2005 and 2007. In March 2008 he was again nominated for best composer for “Love of Siam” at the 2nd Asian International Film Awards in Hong Kong, China.
